Series Review: Bleach

Hi there. I'm back, with a review for the series known as Bleach.


Bleach is a manga by Kubo Tite, which has also been made into an anime series with episodes numbered 1-366.


The story line follows Kurosaki Ichigo, a high school student who has been able to see ghosts since he was a child. One fateful night, a Hollow attacks his home. The Shinigami on patrol, Kuchiki Rukia, cannot defeat it, so she transfers her powers to Ichigo, making him a Substitute 
Shinigami. The story takes off from there.

My Review


This series is well-planned out. With tasteful characters such as those mentioned above, this series is sure to catch your eye. Initially, I was confused on everything. But once I got over it, this series became my favorite, and I watched it whenever I could. 


SPOILERS (KIND OF): The current arc that is ongoing on the manga, the Thousand-Year Blood War Arc, makes me want to murder Ishida Uryū. I realize he was tricked, but seriously, can he not?

So all in all, Bleach is a beautiful anime which all should watch. There have been some deaths that have made me want to rip my hair out, such as the most recent. As well as some villains (Cough Cough, Aizen). Though, these trials only serve to make the series better in the Kubo's opinion, as some of us don't like the decisions.

Hi there. My name is Sakamoto Aiko, which is just a pen name. I don't really want people stalking me through the internet, hence the name.

I'm here to provide you with the lowdown on the all of the anime I've watched. If I haven't watched it, I've at least skimmed through it a little and know some of the plot line.

So far, I've watched/skimmed through these shows.

Black Butler, Fairy Tail, D. Grayman, Ghost Hunt, Blue Exorcist, Naruto, Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist (This includes all segments.), Soul Eater, Baka and Test- Beast Wars, Rosario + Vampire, Kekkaishi, Inuyasha, Ouran High School Host Club, and Shingeki no Kyojin/ Attack on Titan.

Phew.

There are a number of others I've probably forgotten to put, that I'll just put on later. There are also a number of others I haven't watched.

As for ones that I'm currently obsessed with,  that'd have to be Bleach and Naruto. I salute Kubo Tite and Kishimoto Masashi for creating these fine works of art.

So, seeing as I'm going to be here for a while, I'll tell you a little bit about myself.

• My favorite color is teal. My favorite color combination is teal and dark red.
• I prefer to read self-inserts over anything else. Dreaming of Sunshine and Reincarnation Roulette by Silver Queen (FanFiction.net) take the cake. Both have inspired many, many people, including myself, to do their own. Shikako is a well-planned out character, as well as the others in Reincarnation Roulette.
• I am a Taurus.
• I love, love, love watching color guard shows. I'm a guard girl myself.
• I have one sibling.
• My favorite song is "Sweet Nothing" by Calvin Harris, featuring Florence Welch. As for the genre, I like some alternative, and some rock. But I also like pop.
• My favorite book is The Fault In Our Stars  by John Green. Ugh. So good. We all need an Augustus in our lives.
• My FanFiction account name is d0nutl0ve. Yes, I am aware that I have two pen names.
